Received February 21. 1.18 a.m SYDNEY, Fobruarv 20
Steady rain continued till four o'clock, and since then the weather has been fire with a drying wind. The wicket is sodden, but if no more rain falls it is hoped that it will be in a fair ronrtition by noon to-morrow. Fielder will probably be an absentee in the test match. Crawford may p'ay. Owing to the rain the New bouth Wales—England match has been abandoned.
