Drowning Accident.
/AUCKLAND, February 19. A young man, .named Alec. McDougall, was drowned in the Orewa river He went out with his wife to bathe in a creek. The latter became exhausted, and Meßougall rushed in to help her, though he could scarcely swim, and was carried down the stream. His wife eventually swam .-ashore but her husband was drowned.
