The New York correspondent of "The Times" sent his paper a column and a half of news by Marconi wireless telegraphy. He understands that the service is sufficiently perfected to supply a similar weekly service.
The death is announced of Lord Overtoun at the age of 65. NEW YORK, February 16.
Twenty-seven teachers in New York voted for and two hundred against the use of wood upon unruly children. It was expected that the cane would be restored to primary schools.
