PAYING THE SHEREEFIAN
TROOPS

MOROCCO, February 16
The Moroccan State Bank has advanced the Maghzen two and a-half million francs, which will be devoted exclusively to the payment of the garrison in Moroccan ports. The bank's action is due to chd expectation that foreigners will suffer if the Shereefian troops are not paid.
