sCALDWELL INSANE
"i SENT TO AN ASYLUM,
Received February 17, 8.30 a.m. NEW YORK, February 16
Reuter's New York correspondent reports that, on his daughter's petition, Caldwell, the witness in the Druce case, who was arrested in New York on a charge of forgery, has been committed to an asylum lor the insane. The daughter stated that she was convinced he was insane early in 1907, but that before she was able to obtain a committal George Hollamby Druce's solicitor arrived, and stated that CaldweiiPs Duke of Portland story would be corroborated.
