Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd.. report on their Ekctahuna sale held on Friday as follows: —The number of sheep yarded was 5,337. Bidding under hammer was fairly brisk; vendors, recognising that a drop iu prices was necessary, accepted the same; all sheep ii' selling except three small pens. Yarding of cattle small and prices low. We quote—--2 tooth wethers to 10s lOd, 2 tooth ewes to 12s 2d, breeding ewes to 10s 2d, cull ewes from 2s 6d to ss, shorn lambs to Bs, cull lambs 3s 2d to 5s 3d, small fat ewes 12s, rams to 15s. Cattle—Cows with calves at foot £2 12s.
