Mr and Mrs A. G. Cross, of Pahiaatua, have returned after an extensive tour of England and America.
At Kohinui, on Saturday last, Mr V. Lelievre, of Christchurch, was married to Miss Ethel Williams, daughter of Mr F. Williams, of Kohinui.
The funeral of the lata Mrs Ellis Goodin took place at the Clareville Cemetery yesterday afternoon, and was attended by a large number of settlers. The Rev. R. Young, of St. Mark's Church, conducted the service at the graveside.
At Grey town, yesterday, Mr H. C. Trotman, only son of Mr E. H. Trotman, of Greytown, was married to Miss M. A. Gould, daughter of the late Mr T. Gould, of Blenheim. The bride, who was given away by Mr C; Ball, of Masterton, was attended by Misses Thersa Gould and Beatrice Alexander as Mr A CameroH was best man and Mr W. Humphries groomsman.
