Received February 10, 9 a.m. NEW YORK, February 9. A reprobate son shot the notorious Judge Hargis dead at Jackson, Kentucky. The judge was leader of the Hargis feud against the Cockrill family over land. The feud has led to several murders, and in every case so far the assassins have remained unpunished.
