A WHANGAREI MAN ROBBED. ASSAILANTS ARRESTED. BY 'IEIiEGIiAI'H —PRESS ASSOCIATION. WHANGAREI, February 4. A man named Fred T. Bruce was waylaid on the Mauna Road last night, when proceeding home, by two men with revolvers. The muzzle of one revolver waa pressed against his face, and the other against his neck, and "his money or his life" was demanded. Bruce handed out all he possessed and was then aliovved to depart. From information received the police set out in a motor this morn'ing and overtook the men at a store at Otaika. Both were searched, and were found to have revolvers, amj munition and a sheaf of knives. They admitted th» offence, and also admitted breaking into and robbing a store at Taipu a week ago. They will bo charged with the offences at the Court to-morrow.
