The jury were eleven hours in deliberation on Friday, and took four-, tesn ballots, before they reached an agreement. The crowd cheered Thaw and his wife while they were motoring to Matteswan Asyum. Mr Littleton, Thaw's counsel, has decided not to hinder Thaw's committal to.an asylum.
