• MrT. F. Smith, a former resident of Tinui, and well-known throughout the Wairarapa, is at present lying seriously ill in the Masterton Hospital, and but little hope is entertained for his recovery. f A cable message received yesterday stated that the Hon. W. Hall-Jones, with his wife and daughter, had ar- , rived at Hobart by the Corinthic; and that Mr Hall-Jones' health was much improved.
