(From Our Own Correspondent). . Friday. A meeting of the General Committee of the Wairarapa and East Coast P. and A. Society was held on the Showgrounds this afternoon, about twenty members being present. It was resolved to endorse the disqualification imposed 011 certain horses by the Wanganui A. and P. Association. The treasurer's statement showed a -debit balance of £369 18s 9d. The liabilities totalled £44 16s, and assets, £270 18s 6d. Mr W. D. McCalmonthas just completed the erection of a bridge over the Korerau Creek at Gladstone, for the Wairarapa South County Coun- " cil. Mr G. Butler, of the W.F.C.A. staff, who is to be married shortly was, last evening, presented by his fellow employees with a tea pot, stand and tea set. Mr W. A. Kitchener, of the drapery department, made the presentation on behalf of the employees. Myrtle Grove Cigarettes are obtainable from all Masterton 'lobacecnists*.
