BRITISH POLITICS.
Received January 25, 1.3 a.m. LONDON, January 24. Mr A. J. Balfour, addressing the City of London Conservative Association, predicted an early violent revulsion of feeling against the results of the late general election. The Government's profession of social reform was only a thin cloak under which to attack classes or interests against which they feel political animosity.
