WAIRARAPA v. WEST COAST.

A match wa9 played on the Park Oval, yesterday, between the Wairarapa and West Coast teams. The Wairarapa team (composed of six Masterton players and live Carlton players) batted first, and compiled 167. Rawson (35) Moss (32), Waters (29), Mackellar (20), F. Welch (11 not out), and Eason (10) we're the double figure scorers. The West Coast players were unable to do anything with the bowling of Logan (6 for 22) and Moss (4 for • 7), and were all disposed of for 3G, Broad (10) being the only double figure scorer; In their second innings West Coast did better, and compiled 122. Cargill played a masterful innings for 41, ; and was unfortunate in being run out. His score includsd seven 4's. Broad ulayed nicely for 21, while Bamberger hit hard for 16. R. C. FullertunSmith made ten by careful play. Hoar was the most successful bowler for'Wairarapa, taking 4 wickets for 13 runs. Moss, Rawson and Waters also bowled well.
