PERSONAL.
Messrs S. W. Feast, W. Orr and S. Hayes have been nominated for seats on the Ahikouka River Board. Among the members of the West Coast cricket team, which is at present on a visit to Masterton are two ex-residents of Ihis town, viz., Messrs E. W. Broad and W. C. Cergill. Mr E. J. Wright, the newlyappointed dairy inspector for the Masterton district, has taken up his new duties and will pay periodical visits to all the dairies in the district. The funeral of the late Mr F. Lee, ; an old resident of Masterton, who £ died in the Wellington Hospital on 1 Tuesday, took place at the Masterton Cemetery, yesterday, the cortege being a large one. The. officiating minister at the graveside was the Rev. A. M. Johnson.
