DISTURB A CABINET MEETING. FOUR ARRESTS MADE. LONDON, January 17. Suffragettes tried to force an entrance into Sir H. Campbell-Banner-man's residence in Downing street, while a Cabinet sitting was being - held. They shouted: "Votes for women!" Four were arrested. Two chained themsslves to the front rails, compelling the police to break the chains.

'OFFENDERS SENT TO GAOL. Received January 19, 4.32 p.m. LONDON, January 18. The four suffragettes who were arrested outside Sir Henry CampbellBanneraan's house, declined to sign recognisances to be of good behaviour and were sent to gaol for three weeks.
