HELPS UNITED KINGDOM. FROM A BRITISH VIEW POINT. . Received January 16, 8.42 a.m. LONDON, January 15. Mr H. Grigg, Board of Trade Commissioner, reports I hat Canadian preference must be helpful in neutralising the United States geographical trading advantages, though insufficient to do more than check the decline of the Ut ited Kingdom's trade. Preference gives the United Kingdom substantial aid against European competitors.
