THE THAW TRIAL.
"STARK STARING MAD." Received Jannuary 15, 8.28 a.m. NEW YORK, January 14. Mi- Littleton, counsel for the defence at the Thaw trial, declared that insanity existed in the families of Thaw's father and mother, and that Thaw suffered from fits of insanity from early, childhood. Mr Littleton urged that prisoner was stark, staring mad at the time of the tragedy.
