The Worker and Prohibition.
AUCKLAND, January 14. At a meeting of the Political Labour League, held last evening, to consider the policy of the paper New Zealand Worker, the following resoution was carried: —"That in the opinion of this league the New Zealand Worker cannot any longer be regarded as the official organ of the league, seeing that without consulting that body the directors and manager have entered into an alliance with the party which puts forth as its sole issue the prohibition of the liquor traffic, an issue which 'has always been left open by the Labour Party."
