LAWN TENNIS.
MASTERTON CLUB. In view of the annual tournament which takes place on Wednesday and Thursday, 22nd and 23rd instant, the committee have decided to Hood the courts, and intend closing them for play from Thursday evening until Monday, or if necessary until the tournament opens. Members who intend competing will therefore recognise that it is necessary for them to obtain a? much practice as possible to-day, to-morrow and Thursday. Entries for the tournament will close with the hon. secretary (Mr N. D. BJilting) on Wednesday, 15th instant.
