CHARGE OF TRAIN-WRECKING. | THE "WRECKER'S" OBJECT. ; Received January 13, 9.10 a.m. MELBOURNE, January 13. The man Mackay now states that he did not wish to wreck the train to Horsham, but to give the line repairer a spill from his trolly for turning him off the line. (Mackay is a farm labourer. He first stated that he put the obstruction (live sleepers) on the line in order to see what the train would do. Fortunately the engine cut its way through, no damage being done). PRICE OF MILK. AN INCREASE IN SYDNEY. Received January 13, 9,12 a.m. SYDNEY, January 13. Owing to continued dry weather the price of milk has increased by a penny a quart.
