A BOY INJURED.
JSY TKLKUIiAI'H--I'I'.K.S.S ASSOCIATION*. AUCKLAND, January 13. A boy named Corbett was playing in a timber yard, this evening, when a stack of heavy timber fell upon him. He sustained a broken leg and numerous bruises, and was taken to the hospital.
TWO MAORI GIRLS DROWNED. PALMERSTON N.,-January 13. Two little Maori girls, aged two years, were drowned in the Manawatu River, at Rangitane, on Saturday. The body of one was found floating down the river by some Maoris, but the other has not yet been recovered. An inquest on the one found was held to-day, when a verdict of accidental drowning was returned.
