SIGNALMAN ACQUITTED. Received January 13, 9.10 a.m. LONDON, January 12. Hollis, the signalman, was acquitted on a charge of manslaughter in connection with the West Hampstead railway collision. (In the fog of the morning of the 27th October an electric train, travelling from Baker street in the direction of Neasden and Harrow, crashed into the rear of another train, which was waiting at a standstill in the station. Three passengers were killed, and twelve, including the driver of the colliding train, were injured.)
