ENGLAND AND IRELAND UNDER FROST. SEVERAL PERSONS FROZEN TO DEATH. : Received January 6, 10.38 p.m. LONDON, January 6. The upper reaches of the Thames are frozen over. Very severe frosts prevail over the whole of England and Ireland, and skating is general. Twelve ice fatalities are reported. Several more men have been frozen to death.
