DECEASED'S WIDOW ARRESTED. Received Januar/ 5, 4.35 p.m. LONDON, January 4. The widow of Major von Schoenbect, who was shot by Captain Vergoeben, has been arrested. (Captain Vergoeben entered Major von Schoenbect's quarters in the barracks at Allenstein, in Eastern Prussia, and shot him dead. Captain Vergoeben has confessed that he committed the murder in the frenzy of his love for Frau von Schoenbect. It is alleged that the Major's wife was the instigator of the crime, as she concealed the mask, worn at the time the deed was committed by Captain Vergoeben, beforehan:!, for the use of the latter.)
