The weather war, again perfect, and good progress was made with the various matches, but the tournament i 3 not yet over. To-morrow afternoon the finals willbe played of the men's and ladies' championship singles, ladies' championship doubles and combine-.! championship doubles. The men's championship doubles was won by Aitlcen and Gore, who beat Hunter and Howe 6—2, 6—4. The following won their games ii. the uncompleted championship..--events: — Ladies Doubles (semi-final).—Mr.-: Hickson and Miss E. Williams. Combined Doubles. —Miss Marchart and H. M. Gore, Mrs Hickso:: and R. Swanstcn. Tie men's handicap doubles wr.-; wen by Keeling and Hawkins (Rec, 15), who beatGoss and Ollivier (s r.) 70—61. In the final of the men's handicap singles (first grade) H. V. Howe (rec. 13) beat L. W. Hawkins free. 10) 60-51. The ladies' handicap singles was won by Miss F. Scott (rec. 15), whodfceited Miss K. Mcintosh (rec-. 23)-50—46. Miss Penny and Mrs Hawkins (rec. 16) beat M*isa Marchant and Miss Hickson (scr.) in the final of the ladies' handicap doubles 50—28.
