FIRES AT THE GENDARMES. Received January 1, 9.49 a.m. BERLIN, December 31. Anna Kunmer, a fashionablydressed girl of 18, belonging to a good German familv, has been aregted at Lucerne, with a malfi companion, on a charge of burglary. She carried a complete set of burglars tools, much gold, bank notes, and jewellery. She fired six,shots fruitlessly at the gendarmes, and inicted her :ompanion to following her example. Ha refrained from doing so, and declared that he was only Kunmer's servant.
