EDUCATIONAL, SOCIAL, AND LITURGICAL QUESTIONS. A BROAD OUTLOOK URGED. Received January 2, 12.27 p.m. LONDON, January 1. The Archbishop of Canterbury, in a message to the Diocese, says that the Church in 1908 must face the large question of policy and practice in educational, social, and liturgical matters. His Lordship urged the need of a broad He adds. This year should shift us into fresher air, and may wholesomely be startad by an effort to find how our problems strike the fresh eye of, say Japanese Christians, the American teacher, or the Australian politician.
