Mr C. Ball, «f Masterton, received information on Tuesday of the death of his mother, which took place that day at Blenheim. The deceased was 71 years of age. ! The Rev. Dean McKenna left Mas-" terton yesterday morning for Wellington, where lie intends to spend about ten days at the seaside. The Rev. V. PI. Kitcat, of Eketahuna, who is suffering from a broken leg, hopes to be able to* resume his work at the .end of this month. The Very Rev, Father Keogh, rector of St. Patrick's College, Wellington, will preach at St. Patrick's Church, Masterton, on Sunday evening next.
