DUNEDIN RACES. Bl' TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION. DUNEDIN, December 28. The Dunedin's Jockey Club's Summer meeting concluded to-day in perfect weather. The attendance was .again large. The totalisator investments for the day were £6,385, as against £5,319 last year, making a total of £13,743 10s for the meeting, as compared with £11,661 in 1906. Six bookmakers carried on business on the course. The stewards held an •enquiry concerning the running, in the Federal Handicap, on Thursday, and after hearing the evidence of-Derrett and Beale decided that the mishap to Orderly, who fell, was purely accidental.
