NEW ZEALAND CHAMPIONSHIP MEETING. By Telegraph—Press Association. NEW PLYMOUTH, Dec. 27. The New Zealand Lawn Tennis Championships were continued today. In the men's championship singles (third round), Parker beat Smythe, Fisher beat Dickie, Quill beat Didsbury, Peacock beat Cox. Fourth round: Parker beat Fisher, Quill beat Peacock. In the ladies' championship singles (second round), Miss Ward beat Miss Wellwood; third round, Miss Powdrell beat Miss Travers. I In the men's championship doubles, Dickie and Wallace beat W. Brown and Pearse, H. Brown and Cox beat Smythe and - Didsbury, 'Fisher and Pea'cock beat Parker and Quill. In the second round of the ladies' championship doubles, Misses Powdrelland Gray beat Misses Travers and Ward. In the combined champion doubles (second round), Dickie and Miss Baker beat Wallace and Miss E. Dickie, Parker and Miss Powdrell beat Cox and Miss Ward, Fisher and Miss Nunneley beat Cooke and Miss Hitchings, Pearse and Miss Gray beat Brown and' Miss Udy. Third round: Parker and Miss Powdrell beat Dickie and* Miss Baker, Fisher and Miss Nunneley beat Pearse and Miss Gray. The semi-finals and finals will be completed to-morrow.
