MACHINE GUNS TURNED ON STRIKERS.
TWO HUNDRED KILLED AT IQUIQUE. Received December 25, 9.1S p.m. NEW YORK, December 24. The Department of the Secretary of State has received advices dealing with the strike of nitrate workers at Alianza, in the Iquique district, Chili, which was followed by rioting, resulting in troops firing on the strikers. (A cablegram from Iquique, published on Tuesday, stated that seven riote-s were killed and sitsceen were wounded.) The Secretary of State's Department is nowjadviaed that machine guns were used, and that 200 strikers were killed,
