Rose, Limited, report as follows: I During the past fortnight we have held the following sales : Monday. December 9th. Morsewood stock sale: We had a full yardjug of sheep, cattle and pigs, and although there was a tendency of the" sale dragging under the hammer we ultimately cleared the yards at the following prices:-Sheep: Fat and forward ewes 14s, ewes and lambs 163 6d to 17s 6d, fat and forward wethers 14s to 14s 6d. ' Cattle: Bullocks £5 5s to £5 15s, 2 to 21-year old steers £3 10s 6d to £3 12s 6d, , springing heifers £2 15s to £3 ss, 15-month to 2-year old steers £2 7s 6d to £2 15s, heifers in calf up to £3 , ss, bulls £2 and upwards. Pigs: Weaners 10s to 14s. i Thursday, December 12th.—Messrs J Bryant and Leach's clearing sale, ' South Norsewood: The property was sold iaj^ £l4 P er acre - Cattle: Bul " locksTß 12b 6d,empty heifers £3 3s. i Horses up to £22. Pigs: Sows in pig £2 to £3. Harness realised market Friday, December J 3th.—Messrs White Bros.' clearing sale of dairy stock: The herd comprised about 40 cows, and the whole lot was cleared under the hammer at an average of a trifle under £4. Horses, carts, milk cans, etc., were all sold at prices rather in favour of buyers. Monday, December 16th.— Mrs Sterling's clearing sale of dairy stock at Waikopiro: The herd of 30 cows being in full profit and very fair condition attracted a number of buyers. All the cows were sold under the hammer at an average of £4. Horses, sows in pig, milk cans, etc., were all competed for keenly, and realised satisfactory prices. Tuesday, December 17th.—Weher stock sale: On behalf of Mr W. Mabbett, of Weber, v/e offered t-vo of his properties, one a town section containing one acre and a good 5-room-ed house, the other being section 48, block 5, Weber, containing 50 acres, and we report haying sold both sections at prices satisfactory to purchaser and vendor. Stock:—Sheep: Ewes and lambs (in wool) 265, wethers 17s 6d, rams 15s, 2-tooth ewes 14s 9d; bullocks £5. Wednesday, December 18th.—Mr D. P. Ryan's clearing sale: We effected a total clearance of stock and furniture, the section being passed in.
