BRITISH LABOUR PARTY.
THE GREATEST POWER IN THE LaND. TWO MILLION ORGANISED WORKERS. Received December 23, 10.20 p.m. LONDON, December 23. Mr Philip Snowden, Labour member for Blackburn, speaking at Almondbury, declared that the Labour Party, whose motive power was Socialism, was the greatest power in Britain. Already two million organised workers had subscribed to its funds. Within two months another half a million would be affiliated also. By then the whole of the Trade Union movement would be affiliated with the National Labour Party.
