Captain Edwin issued the following forecast: — Wind.—Easterly gale at all places northward of East Cape, Taupo, and Kawhia, extending southward to other parts of the North Island after from 16 to 20 hours; moderate to strong east3rly winds in the South Island north of Hokitika and Kaikoura, and from the northward elsewhere. Barometer. —Fall everywhere.
