B\' TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION. Received December 22, 4.16 p.m. SYDNEY, Decemer 22. Pearce, the sculler, has issued a challenge to Arnst, of New Zealand, to row a match for £IOO aside. Fogwell, another well - known sculler, hearing of the challenge, expressed his willingness to row Pearce for £2OO aside. Fogwell, and probably George Towns and a few other aquatic men, will visit Wanganui to witness the Webb-Tressider match.
