Mr Ramsay Macdonald, Labour Member for Leicester, in an interview in the "Morning Post," says:— "Australia has no more intention of conceding to Great Britain real preference than has Germany. The Australian Labour Party's failure ii} connection with compulsory arbitration and wages boards will compel them to grad"ally drop those aims and concentrate their attention on land nationalisation, national ownership and control of great industries like iron production and agricultural implement-making.
