The following hours of attendance will be observed at the Masterton Post and Telegraph office during the Christmas and New Year Holidays:— Christmas Day, Decgmber 25th, 1907. —Post Office: A close holiday will be observed. All mails usually despatched on this day will be closed at 9 p.m., on Tuesday, December 24th, 1907. A counter delivery of all correspondence, including registered, will be made between 9.30 p.m. and 10.30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 24th, 1907. Telegraph Office: Open from sto 5.30 p.m. only. Telephone Exchange: Open from 9 to 10 a.m. only. Boxing Day, December 26th, 1906. —Post Office: Open from 9 to 10 a.m. for the transaction of all business except money order and savings bank. The usual despatch of mails will be made up to 8 a.m. One com- ' plete delivery will be made by letter carriers, commencing at 7.30 a.m. Telegraph Office: Open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.. and 7 p.m. to midnight. Telegrams for transmission after 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. to be handed in at back entrance, top of stairs. Telephone Exchange: Open as usual, i.e.. 8 a.m. to 12 midnight continuously. New Year's Day, Wednesday, January Ist, 1908.—-Post Office: A close holiday will be observed.
