FIVE HUNDRED ICEBERGS. PASSED BY A STEAMER EN ROUTE TO MELBOURNE. Received Decembre 16, 10.13 a.m. MELBOURNE, December 16. The steamer Hawkesbury has arrived from New York. For thres days the vessol threaded her way through a field of icebergs of great size. It is estimated that she passed between 400 and 500. The steamer was at the time 500 miles southward of the usual course.
