NO PUBLIC RECEPTION. Received December 13, 10.17 a.m. SYDNEY. December 13. The Lord Mayor declined to accord a public reception to Mr Keir Hardie. SOCIALISM AND BROTHERHOOD. MELBOURNE, December 13. Speaking at a reception in Melbourne, Mr Keir Hardie said Social ism stood for brotherhood of the race, irrespective of creed or colour.
