METEOROLOGICAL.
At 9 a.m. yesterday the following forecast was issued by Captain Edwin for the subsequent 24 hours:— Wind.—Moderate to strong from the south-eastward generally, but changing after 16 hours to between north-east and north and west at places southward of Hokitika and Lyttelton. Barometer. Little movement generally, but falling in the southern districts after 16 hours.
