At!) a.m. yesterday Captain Edwin issued the following forcast fir the subsequent 24 hours — Wind—Strong to gale from the northward at places north of East Cape, Taupo and Cape Egmont; moderate to strong northerly elsewhere. Barometer —Fall everywhere. Rain is probable north of East Cape. Taupo and Cape Egmont, also on high country, south of the Bealey. Warning signal for northerly gale is exhibited at Cape Maria Van Diemen, Tiritiri, and East Cape.
