At Wellington, on Thursday last, Mr Albert Rains, an ex-resident of Masterton, was married to Miss K. Haughey, of Wellington. The Anglican Bishop of Wellington will visit Eketahuna, on his tcur through the diocese, on the 12!" h instant. The friends of Mr E. Bgan will regrot to learn that he has become seriously ill and had to be taken to the hospital yesterday. His son, Constable H. Egan," who was recently transferred to Blackball, has been telegraphed for to come to Masterton immediately.
