Received November 25, .9.50 p.m. LONDON, November 25 ; After temporarily settling the impending cotton strike at Manchester, affecting 10,000 operatives, Mr Lloyd George, President of the Board of Trade, motored to London. During the rtip a jolt threw him against the glass window of the car, badly cutting his left eyelid, necessitating several stitches being put in.
