METEOROLOGICAL.
At 9 a.m. on Saturday the following forecast was issued by Captain Edwin for the subsequent 24 hours:— : iViml. Moderate to strong from the eastward at all places northward of East Capo, Taupo, and Raglan, and from the westward thence to Napier; strong to gale after 24 hours from between north-east and north and west at all other places. Barometer. Little movement northward of Napier and New Plymouth; fall everywhere else. Warning signal for northerly gale will-be exhibited at Capes Campbell, Foulwind, Farewell Spit, and Nugget Point after 2-1 hours.
