PERSONAL.

The Rev. C. Blair, of Grey town,, left on Saturday for Napier to attend' the Methodist Synod there. The death occuired at the Masterton Hospital, on Saturday morning, of Mrs Fitzgerald, wife of Mr Jas. Fitzgerald, of Vilia Street, Masterton. The deceased was a native of Tipnerary, Ireland, and was seventy years of age. She came to New Zealand about forty years ago, and after residing in Wellington for some, years, she married iV'r Fitzgerald, and came to Masterton a little over thirty years ago, and has lived here since. The cause of death was cancer,, from which the deceased had suffered for some months. A widower and one son are left to mourn their loss. The funeral will leave St. Patrick's. Church, at 2.30 o'clock this afternoon.
