Speaking on the subject of tripartite Parliaments the New Zealand Herald remarks:~"The situation all over i Australia will be the situation in New Zealand before long, unless moderate men of both parties combine against any third party which forces its way to the front, disguising Socialism under the name of labour. It is very easy to make light of the political danger in front of the dominion, but we can see its existence in the Australian States, and our common sense should teach us that the coalition of moderates is the only way to effectively combat it.".
