THE LATEST IN MOTOR CARS

Wairarapa motorists will be interested in the advent of the MasseyHarris Company's product "The Russell." This handsome car, of which the first arrived in the Wairarapa some few days ago, is considered to be the highest perfection yet attained in light touring cars. Thp car in question is painted an attractive blue-black, with brass mountings and acetylene "Solar" headlights; the horse-power is 1820, and the engine is two cylinder opposed. It is claimed that this particular car is the most noiseless in the Wairarapa for its power and size. This car has so many new and remarkable improvements that makes it a matter of interest to all motorists, and anyone calling at .Messrs Dwyer and Co.'s Garage will be shown completely over this machine. and prospective purchasers may arrange for any trial they may require. This firm, also, show a line of new English concert gramaphones, which mark the highest pitch of quality yet attained. The world's greatest operatic artists are at one's beck and call by the agency of these wonderful music and song reproducers. Several of these have sold in the district, and the purchasers are most enthusiastic over the musical results. It is hard for one who has never heard one of these machines to realise the perfection of their production. The greatest antagonist of the gramaphone would admit his surprise. i The firm are doing good business in the vulcanising of tubes and tyres for cycles and motor cars, which are made equal to new on the premises by their large Harvey and Frost vulcaniser, which was lately landed from Sydney. The firm have a most capable engineer in Mr Fowler, of Melbourne (late of Jenkinson and Co., Masterton) assisted by experienced assistants, and the plant is now capable of coping with every class of motor and cycle repair, and compares favourably with the largest and best in the cities.
