WAIKANAE RACING CLUB.
The annual race meeting of the Waikanae Hack Racing Club will be held at Waikanae, on New Year's Day, and should prove an attractive sports outing in that district. The programme of seven events, which will be found elsewhere in this issue, shows stakes varying from 10 sovs to 25 sovs, the latter amount being allotted to the Ngarara Cup, the chief event of the day. Nominations for all races except the Trial Plate, will close with the secretary, Mr Jas. A. Muir, Waikanae, at 8 p.m., on ba'.urday, December 7th.
