The visitors batted splendidly. Hardstaff gave a display of magnificent cricket and beautiful timing of the ball. The BraundHardstaff partnership added 270 runs to the score. Crawford started by hitting the first five balls to the boundary, and hit the first ball in the next over for six. He made half a century in 24 minutes (ten fourer's and one sixer).
